Account reset - No access to registered email

So recently my Opera account password was reset due to the data breach. When I tried to reset the password, I realized that the email address I had used, is no longer functional. I registered my account sometime in 2006/2007 and the email provider I used to use at that time is no longer functional so there is no way to access that email.
Is there a way I can gain access to my account without the email link? Like secret question/previous password, or something like that?

Hi @vodkamilkshake1, @sweedishfishy, you can try to write an email to the security@opera.com, and you should provide in it as much info as you can, which can prove, that you are the owner of the account (at least the old email address, which you have used to register the account).
