How Do I Clear The cache?

In opera mini web browser 7.1.3.2 on a blackberry curve, how do I clear the cache?
The browser repeatedly ignores the typed in address and reloads the current page. It starts looking up the typed in address then the address in the address bar changes to the address of the page currently open then it re-loads that page.
It also repeatedly starts opening the page directed by a link. Then as it loads, you can watch in the address bar as it change the address it is looking up for the address of the page it is already on.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled opera mini, which has made no difference.
I have deleted and re-downloaded opera mini - it asks if I wish to reinstall - so what is the difference between uninstalling and deleting if both retain the information from the previous install? - Again its made no difference.
I have security wiped my phone and downloaded opera mini - it asks if I want to reinstall - no other choice - again it has not helped.
It also immediately moves the icon into my media folder from download folder - If I have deleted or done a security wipe, HOW does it know to do that? Surely that information should have been erased when I deleted Mini opera and again when I performed a security wipe.

you can't see this behaviour all the time, most likely those pages may have a slow script and all links needs a double click. btw, try opera mini next for a test drive, run better?

Yes, I can see this behaviour most of the time - that's why I've come to this forum, because its happening so often I'm seriously considering deleting opera mini from my blackberry.
It doesn't wait to load, it does it in seconds. I see the address in the address bar change before the progress bar has moved 1/2 way across.
My actual question, How do I clear the cache? is not answered at all.
No links need a double click from a blackberry.
You cannot double click from a blackberry.
I'm using opera mini - my opening 2 lines are :

In opera mini web browser 7.1.3.2 on a blackberry curve, how do I clear the cache?Thank you therefore for your reply, if you are just a user then accept my apology if you feel my answer offends. If you are an employee then shame on you.
Now, is there anyone who can actually answer my original question or must I just give up, uninstall permanently and write a review on the Appworld page detailing my experience and lack of ability to get support?
Thanks

clear history, that will clear the cache in absence of other option on settings or about page.

If you type "opera:config" (no quotes, of course) as the address, there's a list of options. One of them is "fold linklists" (or it's in my version, anyway). Setting it to off fixes a couple weird - and apparently unrelated - issues for me, including wrong links and bad anchors.
No idea if it'll fix this one, but it's a benign setting.

I too am using Opera Mini 7.1 on my BB Curve with operating system 4.5. It seems to be impossible to cancel or change username and password saved on a web page that is not even bookmarked. The "opera:config" suggestion was very useful because this is the only place on Opera pages where I found this info. I also tried the "fold linklists" suggestion after manually cancelling references to the web page in browsing history. The username and password still persist on the web page despite refreshing and even turning the phone off and on again.
BB obviously provides no clues as to where or how to set the Opera Mini configuration. Any news since November 2013? Thanks!
