Error?

I closed the browser using task manager and reopened it and suddenly sync isn't working. It isn't like I NEED it at the moment, but I don't like seeing the red "X" in the corner. So I tried to sign in and and it says there's an error and I even changed my password just to be sure, I have tried multiple times to log in and it won't allow me. It seems like it would work and does for a split second and then disappears to tell me there's an error. It worked once, and then the next time I looked up to switch tabs, it stopped working again. I don't know what to do.
