Is Checker Plus for Gmail available?

I couldn't find it while searching for more extensions (we need more).
I already use Gmail Notifier, but really prefer Checker Plus for Gmail. The author's website shows version 15.1 (Jan 10) with support, "Extension now compatible with Opera (except for desktop and voice notifications)".
I tried the chrome store, but I couldn't seem to locate a method to download the extension there.
