Opera 12.18 for linux?

Windows users has recently received upgraded opera 12.18. Is there any hope for linux version of 12.18? Or is there possibility of taking these new security protocols from windows version and use it with 12.16 on linux (as a library or sth)? More and more pages are using https these days and I can't open them...

Unlikely. They have no interest to satisfy a marginal part of users (Opera Presto / Linux). It's cost too many manhours and money.

Yeah, but we're talking about migrating few simple changes from windows version to linux (new encryption algorithms etc), it's not rocket science.
So, looking forward for vivaldi stable.
