Opera/Synergy bug revitalized

  • With this latest update to Opera the bug wherein Opera loses it's ability to manage any mouse-over activity if Synergy is running has returned. (This comes from WebKit as Chrome has the same issue. This may effect other host platforms but I run Ubuntu as my Synergy master.)

  • Incidentally that's 36.0.2130.32 for those interested. (Chrome Version 49.0.2623.87 (64-bit).)

  • Still present in 36.0.2130.65...

  • I haven't heard of this program before...

There is a chromium bug report, but it's old, so nothing seems to happen. I think you have to contact the developers of synergy to fix this, because it's probably more important for them to have this fixed than for Google.

  • In some versions of Opera/Chrome it has worked as expected. My version of Synergy has never changed. This effects no other software. I realize that's not definitive, but all the available evidence seems to point to WebKit.

Thanks for the bug report (even if it's for chromium and not Chrome).
