Opera 35 on Ubuntu 15.10 will not become the default browser

I like opera 35 on ubuntu but I can't get the button to make it the default browser to work. Any suggestions?

I'm facing the same problem on regular Ubuntu 15.10 with Gnome (Not UbuntuGNOME).

Yes, this is a known issue.

@avl: I thought this issue had been fixed and that we just had to wait for an update? Do you know when this will be fixed?

i have the same problem for any browser on Ubuntu 15.10
