Hey, guys from Opera, really, please update Opera Mini/Mobile. OM is THE best Symbian browser, and there are millions of Symbian users throughout the world!

+1. Opera Mini and Mobile have been the best browsers for symbian devices over these years. Would love to see opera devs giving us their support for a couple of years more. This would make us feel like we were not ditched by everyone at once (like nokia and some other services have done already). I request opera dev team to plz update their symbian version to the latest.

so i just tried opera mini 8 java app on my n8; its got potential, but is so much slower that the current 7.1 symbian version.
Nokia may have deserted symbian, but other companies were put in place and took over a long time ago and symbian will live on. So its abit of a joke that we cant get updates. -

i am using nokia N70 s60v2, today in morning time, i was downloading mp3 files through opera mini 7.1.32445 , suddenly after finishing download, i got a pop up message from opera notifying that 'there is updated new version available' then options 'upgrade' 'no', i selected 'upgrade' but due to network problem, i failed to update it, then after that i still not got that notification again... thats why today i came on this forum weather there is an update really?

If Blackberry got upgraded OPM 8,then we should also see an OPM 8 for Symbian.I have downloaded OPM 8 Java version and the user experience wasn't great at all.While using OPM 7.1 Symbian to load http://wpcentral.com it didn't render the page properly although it showed little better on OPM 8 Java.So I had to use UC WEB BROWSER to get a better rendered page.

I'm still unable to post comments on http://www.forexfactory.com .In addition, OPM doesn't render http://www.wpcentral.com even some Windows Phone users are saying the same thing.Windows Phone Central has launched a mobile version http://m.wpcentral.com and OPM just redirected it to desktop version.
