I want smooth scrolling a web of pages, same as in IE or Firefox...

Any additional extension that adds smooth scrolling, do not provide the desired quality of smooth scrolling

Right click on the Opera shortcut and click on Proprieties.
Add --enable-smooth-scrolling at the very end of the text in Target. It should look like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" --enable-smooth-scrolling
Click on OK to save the settings. Then Open Opera by activating that shortcut.Why Opera hasn't put this option in the UI is beyond my understanding.

Well, now try this. Now that you have smooth scrolling, install this extension so you can be able to install extensions in the Chrome Store: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/?display=en

I installed the extension. In my opinion this is an unfortunate extension, is clearly not better than a firefox.
