I have Windows XP Home with. SP3 and Opera as my browser. The combination works impeccably.
If I download Ubuntu as an alternative OS to XP - both installed - is it possible to use Opera on Ubuntu ?
[Moved to *nix]

There is a version of Opera for Linux http://www.opera.com/computer/linux
I'm pretty sure you could synchronise your bookmarks etc. between the browsers.

Running for years here.
P.S. I find that Windows runs better virtually. I run 7 in a VM.

Hello! I have installed on Ubuntu (Linux) Opera Developer 36.0. I tried to sync my data from my other browser Opera, I have demanded a passphrase. But I do not remember the passphrase, so I'm on the recommendation of the installer removed all synchronized data. Now I do not have any of my data, there is a passphrase, and I can not use the Opera. How do I install a full Opera Developer 36.0 on Ubuntu?

@sokolov9686: Do you want to reinstall Opera developer?
sudo apt-get purge opera-developer rm -R ~/.cache/opera-developer ~/.config/opera-developer sudo apt-get install opera-developer
