i ran opera-beta --help and saw the

I recognize this post. I messed up my Ubunto single sign on, I wasn't even drunk - I don't drink. My only excuse is idiocy. Ah well... Anyhow, I posted a reply there as "uninvolved" which may be of interest. I'm not sure if they'll mind a double post here or not but, well, I'd say go for it.
I've observed that feature requests seem to be more noticed in the beta section of this forum than anywhere else. I'm not sure why they don't have this feature.
There is also the "suggestion box" which you can find here:
https://forums.opera.com/category/15/suggestions-and-feature-requestsYour raised issue and no longer allowing one to hold ctrl when right clicking and opening a non-hyperlinked URL to make it open in a new tab, I dare say they've done pretty well as those are my only two remaining complaints as I'm assuming they're also working on sync for extensions.
Anyhow, you'll probably need to ask for this as a feature and hope they have time to work on it. I've seen a few folks ask this question before and nobody has given an answer as far as I recall. In my opinion, it should be in the options menu without needing extensions or command lines.
