Hover Over Tab Focus

Howdy. I'm probably missing it somewhere but where is, or is there, a 'tab focus' extension where you hover your mouse cursor over a tab to change to that tab?
Or maybe it can be done natively through settings (although I don't see it anywhere)?
Thanks.

Are you aware the tab history is available after right-clicking on the back button?

Not exactly changing to it, you still need to click to activate it, but I guess you want to enable "Show tab previews" in "User interface" section. (you can even tweak the time delay after which it gets shown by activating power user settings)
tab history is available after right-clicking on the back button
or keeping it pressed when left-clicking

Yes, but I think the tabs functionality is under utilized the way it is now. The preview thumbnails are too small to be of any use visually, and to me to include back and forward tab history would be more useful, and having to right click on back button then forward button is Ok but could be easier.
In fact, I have already edited both the tab menu and document menu to include back and forward history. Of course document menu is easier as there is less aiming required, but in both cases the tab has to be in focus. Hover would be easier and more productive
