Does Web Audio API work on Opera on linux

I'm developing code which uses Web Audio API
which works fine on firefox/chrome on ubuntu 14.04
however it appears Opera v 12.16 on ubuntu is not handling this.
Is this disabled by default on Opera ? or not yet available ?

Opera 12.16 has no support for Web Audio API, try Opera developer (Blink).

Newest Opera for Linux is due a stable release.

Try the 25 beta or 26 "developer".
