Hi, everyone.
Since the release of our first build on the Windows Phone platform, we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response of the community around Opera Mini.
We encountered several critical issues during the first week, and we are humbled and grateful of your support, your feedback and, most of all, your patience, especially during those first few days, when the crashes seemed endless.
We have learned a lot since we started on this project, and, thanks to you we got a better feeling on what is expected on this platform, in terms of features, services and design.
We need to have an initial product to build upon, and we think we are there now. So, today, we are making this Beta available to any Windows Phone user who searches for Opera Mini in the WindowsPhone Store - http://opr.as/f0g

hi opera mini wp welcome.... i am using beta and given suggestions already in previous thread
.. so pls give font size and exit options then.... image quality low and medium have no difference ... kindly check that.
then when typing this comment in this forum itself keyboard hides the text box so we r unable to see what we r typing... -

please support tamil font ...tamil font shows half of the lines only..
then some sites gets zoomed out much much small size example facebook .. we have to zoom in to many times to reach the content... fix that

Have installed Opera mini beta on my lumia 1020. Sorry to say that when I try and use the browser I get a message asking me to check my connection. I have version 7.6.8

On what type of connection does that happen? GSM? What's your GSM provider?

Where are downloaded files placed? I tried to download images (using "Save image") but couldn't find them afterward. They are not in "Photos" tile nor in any folders accessible from file manager.
Also, where do I need to place files I want to upload? I was trying to upload screenshots but opera mini can't find them at all, they are not in any folders in "Local >".
I'm new to Windows Phone. Using Lumia 530 WP8.1
