Brightness option in old java phones

For those using Opera Mini 4.x on their old phones, there is no option to adjust the brightness level.
Opera mini can help them by having one of the following quick solutions.
1. Add "brightness" setting in either regular setting or in config: screen
OR
2. Create a "night" skin with say 50% brightness which the user can switch-to during nights when the lights are switched off.
I am sure that it will help a lot of users who want to keep their old phone and have to rely on Opera Mini.
(P.S. Sent from my Nokia 6233 ;-))

since it will be useful only for old phones then most likely light dimming feature is doomed. #3 from mini4 it's a miss and reloaded forms another glitch for java version. Easy and without fuss Opera Mini 5 for j2me tend to serve a more deprecated user experience since all new features are developed for Android and implemented on other platforms for compatibility reasons. In fact Google which is Opera's default search partner for Opera Mini and Opera Mobile has to be the monicker in this affair just dusting and of course Opera sweep.
