Customisable Mouse gestures - why are they gone?!

Hey there,
i really love opera since a long time for no reason. I also liked and used the customisable mouse gestures as a VERY POWERFUL tool to enhance my browsing experience (this made opera even more my favorite browser!)
But then i noticed that after an Update there were only a few pre-programmed gestures which you couldnt edit... i INSTANTANEOUSLY downloaded my previous long outdated version from oldversions.com (from 2012 i think and am still using it today.I would commence to do this, but as more and more websites and contents do not load properly im on the point of switching to a more customizable browser.. but since i cant settle with that, this here is my last instance for getting the mouse gestures back! I cant believe there is no one else who feels like that..
Greets!

where did he say that? And WTF is there then still an "about:config" where 90% of the options seem like 大台 for most users??

That is sad.. i think i will now uptade from 12.5 to whatever is the most recent version. But i will keep the old installer for bad times to bring a smile into my face using my gestures again.

The new version of Opera (Blink) 15+ does not update/upgrade an exiting version of Opera (Presto) 12.x and below. It is installed along side and both can be used and co-exist on the same computer without any problems.

Yeah i recognized that, but that doesnt help much, since i always had internet explorer (shame on me) installed to view several sites correct if not supported of opera... i now switched to chrome with some addons and it works pretty good for me, but it anyway feels different...
