Being able to adjust the length of the search bar

While not exactly a huge issue, the search bar feels unreasonably long, having it span the whole length of the window.
I am often looking for a spot at the top that isn't the search bar in order to click and drag the window to another screen; I go to click and drag but am activating the the search bar instead.
I think an easy fix to this is either allowing the user to adjust the length to their liking, or just shortening it enough to have a small space for the user to quickly click and drag to the window.
I can see the benefit of being able to see that much of the web address, but most addresses, such as the one for this page, only use the tiniest portion of the address bar, making the left over space a waste, resulting in this weird non-problematic, problem.
I do hope you consider this idea to improve user experience, as Opera has really made my internet use a lot more manageable, and enjoyable. Thank you so much!
