GX Mod Store: "Mod type restricted" with splash_screen

Hello!
I'm creating an Opera GX Mod using Schema v2.
My mod works correctly when loaded unpacked, including the splash_screen payload. However, when I try to publish/update the same mod on GX Store, the upload is rejected with:
"Mod type restricted"
If I remove the splash_screen section from the manifest, the mod uploads successfully.
The splash screen itself works correctly locally, so I don't think the problem is with the MP4 file or the manifest structure.
Could you please clarify whether splash_screen requires special permission for community-created GX Mods, and if so, how can I request that permission?
Mod name: SUPXR's TYPE
Thank you!

Looks like a Store-side restriction rather than a problem with the MP4. Someone else has reported the same error with splash screens and other mod features under Schema v2. I'd ask the GX team whether those features need approval before publishing. If it works unpacked and uploads once you remove splash_screen, I'd wait for confirmation before spending more time rewriting the manifest

If you look through https://store.gx.me/mods/?tagAlias=desktop,splash-screen, mods with splash screens seem to only be created by the "Opera GX Official" studio. That might mean that regular users can't publish splash screen mods at this time. The Schema 2 documentation isn't even published online as far as I know. It seems everyone just learns from existing mods.
The only other thing I can think of is if your splash screen video is too long. Make sure it's no more than 5 or 6 seconds.
I really doubt it's an issue with the mp4 format, but you could try webm (vp8 or vp9 + vorbis or opus) instead just to see.
