I really hope someone can tell us how to turn it back on - it's essential for checking what website you are actually clicking on before you click the link!

@vfel46 it's hard to explain, but it's the highlighting of the product name when searching on the website I work with, without opening the page of the product. This highlighting is not possible on other browsers, and you need to visit the page itself for it

@wokes This is a critical bug, since it affects the browser's core functionality. I'd like to believe that the bug will be fixed in the next few days so I can use OperaGX again.

You can click the Easy Setup button and switch to a different preset at the top and then back. That will temporarily fix it for that window for the session.

Definitely still not fixed for Opera Air as of today (25 Aug 2026). Does anyone know of a workaround for Air?
