Option to open pages in new tab

I'm not sure if there's a way to do this now, I searched extentions and couldn't find anything. Coming from Arc browser and they way they allow tab navigation is really nice. I know I can right click and choose the option to open in a new tab, just would like to see the option to turn it on by default.

As a workaround for now, you might search for an extension that adds target="_blank" to links on pages so that they open up in new tabs when left-clicking. Something like https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/open-link-in-new-tab/iioibkhaekicggaepeaoilaocmebhpgj might work, but I didn't test it.
