I regularly browse through many websites using opera mini. Static websites seem to perform well with it on navigation but dynamic sites like wordpress sites do not pass urls when you navigate with opera mini. When you set to single column view all that changes. I wonder how web masters can configure their sites to work with opera well without adjusting that setting. i have tried many sites with that problem coming. Opera desktop works well and all other browsers like ie and firefox.

What is the catch? What settings are needed for that to be fixed? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Could it be java script behavior? That is my chief suspect here. I am using a samsung gt5330

Is not the general feeling, wordpress sites are compatible with Opera Mini only that different styles or scripts may jam user experience. I don't encounter any problem with top 30 most visited wordpress pages, Presto can render properly any content even if doesn't fully support html5.

I've tossed this suggestion before for weird issues:

If you type "opera:config" (no quotes, of course) as the address, there's a list of options. One of them is "fold linklists" (or it's in my version, anyway). Setting it to off fixes a couple weird - and apparently unrelated - issues for me, including wrong links and bad anchors.

No idea if it'll fix this one, but it's a benign setting.
