GX corner default background

So I'm trying to change the background of the GX corner to anything other than the default settings background (the gray background that shows up in settings) however i can not seem to find a way to do so.
First, i have checked the GX corner settings menu and there is no option to enable wallpapers. Second i have tried to opt into Experimental mode to see if that enables anything for me. Third i have done a fresh install of opera to ensure that nothing has been broken or corrupted from my initial install.
And yes I do have wallpapers enabled in general as the wallpaper i have selected does show up in the start page. And also yes i tried with the GX specific default stylized wallpapers.
Lastly, I also tried disabling hardware acceleration.Im running on windows 11.
If anyone has any ideas how to fix this so that the GX corner can have wallpapers or heck, anything other than the boring settings background that would be great! -

Just a quick add on, I have already done all the things posted in the topic about posting about problems. This is an issue that has existed for me for as long as i can remember having opera GX. Of which I have had for maybe a year or so.
