The primary frustration I experience with this issue arises when I attempt to drag an item from my desk to a page. If I inadvertently hover over any of the sidebar icons, even momentarily, it triggers the opening of that application, obstructing my intended action. While it could be argued that I should simply navigate around the sidebar icons, this approach often results in a significant loss of time as I am forced to reposition the dragged item back to the desktop, close the unintended application, and restart the process while meticulously avoiding the icons. I propose that a brief delay, perhaps as minimal as three-tenths of a second, be implemented to mitigate this inconvenience. Thank you for considering this suggestion.
