tabs highlighting when im on them

unairred last edited byso i just recently closed my browser by pressing f12 on accident, and i think(?) the browser updated once i did, and once i reopened it, of course all of my tabs were still there, but now the tab that i'm on at the moment highlights, and when i hover my cursor over something it looks different, and the font url is different, etc. so my question is, is there a way to change all of this? like make your tab stop highlighting since it bothers me seeing it in my peripheral, and change the font back to what it originally was, etc. -- if anyone could reply to this with a problem solver, that'd be greatly appreciated!
(windows 11, latest version of opera gx (i think)) -

Please add an easy way to turn this on/off, the tab highlight is bothering me so much i might just switch to chrome lol -

Same, I can't stand this. All those mods to change colors a bit, but now something that matters is actually unchangeable?
The new minimized sidebar is ugly too, luckily those insane animations when changing between workspaces are cancelable with the 'reduce animations' switch under user interface settings. -

The only solve I have found for this is to change the theme. All of opera's base themes have the same problem so you will need to get one from a mod. Hopefully they will add a way to change it in the future though

@TheMasterMinion The mods I tried all have the same problem, in different colors, if you know a cool one that doesn't please lemme know!

@Tostiman The one that worked for me was "Hal's Neuro-Sama Mod". It was the only mod I had installed so I thought I would try to see if it fixed it and it did so I assumed all mods would but I guess not if none of yours worked. It still highlights like chrome or any other browser but it not bright and so barely noticeable. Although personally I don't like the theme in general so I am just gonna put up with the default for now and hope it changes.
