Creating and Running Multiple Opera Profiles on Linux/Ubuntu

Dear Experts,
I recently started using the Opera browser and was thoroughly impressed by its excellent performance, particularly the built-in VPN feature, which works remarkably well.
I would like to know how to create and manage multiple Opera browser profiles and run them simultaneously on a Linux/Ubuntu desktop, similar to how multiple Chrome profiles can operate concurrently.
Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your support!

See https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/new_profile/#wiki_create_multiple_profiles_for_opera. Those directions are for Windows, but you can use the same --user-data-dir command-line switch on Linux. Try with the deb version of Opera first. Then you can adapt that to the flatpak or snap version of Opera if you use one of them.
For example:
opera --user-data-dir=~/.config/opera/profile2
