New opera GX really slow performance

Hi there, after the update Opera GX slowed down really bad, Is there any solution or is it time to move on to different browser

And btw. Is there a way to choose old theme? In this new theme the active tab looks like inactive to me because of the notch it feels like it is concave compared to other tabs). It's confusing
