how to change the search engine to bing on opera gx browser

how do you change the search engine to bing i tried to change it but it's greyed out and it doesn't let me change it i even installed bing extension to change it but it's not changing

@cutebunnygaming10 go to opera's settings>basic> then near the middle of that page u will see search engine then u will see Search engine used in the address bar. & next to it a drop down menu where u can choose Bing.

have u tried clicking on the option below in settings
Search engine used in the address bar.?
and adding bing as a site search from there? -

@cutebunnygaming10 by search bar do u mean the address bar? coz i have mine set to yahoo & when i start typing somethign directly in the address bar it shows me the yahoo logo in front of whatever i type

@cutebunnygaming10 hey i think i might have found the solution...hopefully u haven't tried & failed at this too.
so go to the browser settings>basic>start page>hide search box...i dont keep mine on, but when i turned mine off, i got a search engine search bar on my speed dial page
