Sync Password Troubles

Since I've reinstalled Ubuntu (16.04.2) and also Opera, i'm facing a hard "bug" (?). After I add my username+password correctly to sync, Opera take me to opera://settings/syncSetup page. There, password is required again (FOR WHAT???), and so, after typing nothing happening as I haven't had typed something, the pass box simply get blank. Obviously, after frustrating tries, sync doesn't happen.
I'd be grateful for some help here.
