[Help] Disabling hardware acceleration makes twitch.tv streams lag

As the title suggests, when I disable hardware acceleration all twitch streams are laggy. Now that wouldn't be a problem since I can just enable it and it fixes the problem, but my computer has issues with hardware acceleration so I'm forced to have it disabled. I tested this with the "videos stats" feature of twitch, and the fps appear to drop under 60 which make the stream look laggy. Thanks in advance to anyone that takes the time to help!
