top pixel of new tab button

On the new tab button, the very top pixel of it is unclickable. This is proving very annoying, as when I just shoot my mouse to the top of the screen to open a new tab, I always miss whereas in Opera Classic I would've been fine. Is there any way to circumvent this or do I just have to beg at the devs and pray they listen?
