Smart resource usage feature idea

This is an idea for a feature that could be very useful. Currently, 'GX control' allows resources to have a limit set. I think having a smart mode that actively lowers resource usage would help loads. It would be used to generally lower system usage without having to set a max. Most of the time the max doesn't go low enough or it causes stuttering.
