Opera lost tabs after update

Opera closed unexpectedly (I think it closed automatically although I am not sure I might have hit ctrl+shift+q accidentally), I open it again and it tells me that it has updated, my tabs are still there, when dragging tabs around the little graphic of the tab being dragged gets stuck on the screen so I decide to close opera and open it again, upon opening opera again all my tabs are gone and there is no history (ctrl+shift+t) of closed tabs. Very annoying as I had multiple windows full of ongoing research and looking at the browser history is extremely inconvenient. Consider this a bug report.
