Opera "bookmarks bar" problem

When I use a dark theme in KDE Plasma 5, Opera has a problem with the color of fonts.

I've got the same problem. I'm using a dark theme on Peppermint 7 OS and I wish we could change the color of the font in the bookmarks bar.
Sadly I don't think the developers are up to the task...I've seen complaints and requests about this that were about one year old.
