XTranslate marked as malicious

When I started Opera today it told me that it blocked the add-on "XTranslate" for safety reason
- Would it be possible to know what exactly the reason for that is?
- I see that the extension is on GitHub, could it be explained where the malicious part is so that it can be removed and reuploaded?

I also would like to know what exploit was detected because I used this add on a lot. Thanks.

Someone recently discovered that it injects advertisements in pages you visit. The developers didn't made a statement about it. I think this is the reason it's blocked by Opera.
It is still available in the Chrome webstore so if you really want this extension you can use that one, provided you have the 'Download Chrome Extensions' extension installed. But be warned!!

Indeed, it's still possible to use extension from chrome store:
- Install extension https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/
- Install XTranslate https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/xtranslate/gfgpkepllngchpmcippidfhmbhlljhoo
Works for me!
