Hi, I'm experimenting with Manjaro KDE and I see that Opera browser never use kdialog when I want to save a file in a custom folder. Instead of that, it shows GNOME 2 dialog.

Opera is the only Chromium browser that doesn't show kdialog when I use KDE. The rest of browsers I tested, Chrome (on openSUSE and Kubuntu), Chromium, Vivaldi and Maxthon show kdialog when I use them on KDE.

What's happening with Opera on KDE? Is it a browser designed to work only on Ubuntu Unity?

At least it's a GTk2-based dialog so it can be made to look like the rest of your desktop by using the appropriate theme...

The appearance doesn't mean for me. The true problem is a technological integration.

+1 for that! On KDE Plasma save window is almost unusable for me - I can't manually edit path, see your pinned places, see thumbnails or change files view. Chromium implemented support for kdialog: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=40060 Could Opera Team do the same?
