Error 500 when trying to submit a new version of an existing extension

I uploaded a CRX file of our add-on.
When trying I press "Submit Changes", I banner with the error "Submit error (500): INTERNAL SERVER ERROR".
I tried both Opera and Chrome browsers. I tried a ZIP file instead of CRX.

When clicking the download button, I get a ZIP file that Finder can't expand.
Expanding on the command line works, though.

Please help!

As far as I know, you should upload a .nex file (https://dev.opera.com/extensions/architecture-overview/). You should pack the extension from the add-ons manager in Opera (https://dev.opera.com/extensions/basics/#step-5-----packing-it-all-up).

Thanks @gustavwiz. Unfortunately, still get the same error 500 message when uploading an .nex file. Other ideas?
Would it be possible for somebody to check the server logs for the problem?

It's now 6 weeks... I'm still unable to update our extension!
