Sync is very inconsistent between versions.

I initially started using Opera on Windows, and created my Opera account there. For some reason, the passwords won't sync over to my Linux computer, or my Android tablet. Same with everything else. I sign in, enable sync, and nothing actually gets synced over. The only version that seems to have properly functioning sync is the Windows version. I tried signing in on a second Windows computer, and it synced over perfectly fine.
Another thing is that there are some things that aren't synced at all. A big one is Speed Dial. I have to re-create my Speed Dial on every new device I use.
Anybody else experiencing these issues? Any way to fix them?

I had the same problem when trying to log in with my two year old account info. Opera would let me log in but did nothing.
I had to create a new log in account as Opera changed the way their sync system works while back.
Of course I lost my backups when I lost access to the old sync system but had exported them as a safety backup. After I imported the safety backup, the new sync account backed them up online.

Yes, the sync system does not work very well, in the beginning in will work but if you use Opera as your main browser for a while you will notice that it doesn't. I sync between several computers, and my problem is that I almost can't delete bookmarks, when I do it, it will come back later because of the sync system.

This was actually a "feature", so one could have separate speed dials at home and at work for example. But it's useless, hopefully they will fix this soon.
