A new version of the browser is not available. Opera 44.

Also trying to download opera android from the opera homepage , if you click download from Opera homepage rather than Google play , you still get an opera 43 to download .

On Google Play, the Opera Andoid page says the version they have for install is uodated December 6th, yet when trying to get this version what you get is Opera 43, not Opera 44
In addition the Opera Mobile blog refers to the "New Opera 44:"

That sometimes it would not be as I have with Firefox, which for 3 weeks, displays version 56 and does not want to upgrade to version 57.

@sgunhouse That's right, but not with me. I still have version 56 ... A year ago, if I'm not mistaken, I had to wait several months for updating the Opera to version 43!

I'd stay away from Opera 44 for those of you who can get it in the play store. There have been many reviews for 44 complaining about it crashing and the speed dial being too small along with other problems. Stick with 43 for now until the devs can fix the crashing and speed dial.

@slytheringirl I suspect that in a few months I will get updates, so during this time, the problem mentioned by you will be repaired. I guess.

Easy friends. The new version is buggy. The quick scroll-up to summon the toolbar doesn't work.
So be happy with the previous one.

I dont have any problems with new version (44). Everything is OK. Speed dial is smaller than 43, but looking better. Password sync still missing only.

Everything works for me, only the scroll-up can sometimes hang.
The browser more and more often began not to react. Closing the browser in such situations only helps.
