Cloning when using alt tab

So When I hit alt+tab to quickly switch to a new tab, or window, I notice that Opera is cloning itself. I see multiple windows that pop up that are just clones of Opera and my currently running instance. When I close Opera the windows remain and become unclose-able. They remain until I restart my Pc. Any help would be nice.
