So far I've learned that browsers that are "chromium based" meaning the search function uses google you can apparently type "--user-data-dir" after typing "chrome://settings" first. For opera you can type opera instead of chrome.
But this hasn't worked so I'll do some more learning and let you know. That's why I said apparently a lot. I'll show you when I complete it to rid this problem!

If anyone could add to this previous discussion of the same problem please help. I try to open anything that requires some redirect like a university school login page before entering and this happens.
