Same here for me. The not open workspaces all loose their islands but tabs remain. And seems to happen after a shutdown or even just a close and reopen.

What just happened!? browser crashed restarted without warning, while attempting to reopen automatically it half failed with an error saying it coulndn't get to the user preferances file then continued to open anyway into a signed out version without any of my workspace's/customization... So i signed into to it and nothing happened... didnt reload anything with my preferances, so then closed it and re-opend. And lo and behold everything is back however all my tabs (X00's) have moved to one workspace in an absolute mess, never to be undone... Why?!
