RE: [Solved] Touch not an option with “open with” when selecting a linkOpera Browser
@stuhof said in Touch not an option with “open with” when selecting a link:
On my iPad when selecting a web link in another app eg. gmail, the open with list is displayed but opera touch is not an option. Safari and chrome are options but I do not want to uses these browsers.
How can I add Touch to the list or make touch the default app for all web links On the iPad .
Thankson your iPad find the link you want, long press on it, go down the list to 'share' then scroll to the right of your list to 'more' then press edit on the top right and scroll down to Opera Touch and flip the switch to green and press 'done' then 'done' on the top left. its now on the list for you to open links with.
Apple does not allow users to change the default web browser on iOS , but some email apps [like proton mail or Outlook] let you change the default web browser for opening links in emails. thats as best as your going to get
hope all that helps

[Solved]Opera Touch 2.4.0 on iPad Mini now not useableOpera Browser
Hi, after the latest update (2.4.0) on iOS Opera Touch’s user interface is not correct on iPad Mini; I’m unable to use the browser as the address bar is not reacting to my inputs and is in the middle of the page
Everything is fine after the update on my iPad Air

RE: Chromium-based browsers take up way too much CPU processing power on Linux compared to WindowsOpera for Linux
@joe232 i would try it again with it set to 'off' in Opera and see if theres any difference. no harm seeing if the results differ in anyway

is it possible to reduce the scale of the extensions UI?Opera for Linux
ive been having problems with the size of some of my extension's drop down menus, almost all of them are are slightly larger than my other chromium-based browsers, which, wouldn't normaly be a real problem but the slider bars within some the drop down menus don't work so i can't see some of the info. this doesn't happen 'normaly' as all the info is contained with the drop-down box.
hopefully this has made some sense
