RE: Opera 55. Getting rid of that ugly CSDOpera for Linux
As a temporary workaround, I have unfortunately downgraded my Opera to version 54.0.2952.71, which can be downloaded from https://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/.
I filed a bug report on this and will be waiting for it to be fixed on version 55.

@jimunderscorep
I'm on Kubuntu 18.04 (KDE Plasma Version 5.12.6) with the "Breeze" theme and "Breezemite" window decoration, this is the "Noto Sans" font. With the Latte Dock on, looks a lot like a mac. -

RE: Whatsapp plugin won´t close.Opera for Linux
I also updated this morning (Opera 55.0.2994.37) and am facing the same problem. I am closing the whatsapp window with the ctrl+shift+m shortcut. Kubuntu 18.04.
Also after this update my Opera's window decoration is not respecting my System Settings for window decorations anymore.
