Hello,
I cannot enable Sync in Opera.
Every time I try to sign in, Opera shows:
“Synchronization has encountered a problem”.
I opened opera://sync-internals and the status shows:
Transport State: Disabled
User Actionable Error: Needs settings confirmation
Error Type: NOT_MY_BIRTHDAY
Action: DISABLE_SYNC_ON_CLIENT
What I have already tried:
Reinstalled Windows
Completely removed Opera and all profile folders
Reinstalled Opera fresh
Verified DNS and HTTPS connection to sync.opera.com
No Opera credentials stored in Windows Credential Manager
The issue remains the same and sync never initializes.
Could someone from Opera reset the sync state for my account or advise how to clear this server-side flag?
Opera version: Opera 127.0.5778.76 (Windows)
