every time i click on any link while browsing it opens in a new tab instead of the current one. It started around 2 days ago and it's extremely annoying. Somehow, when I tried using chrome it happened on there as well. I did an mrt scan and it found nothing, neither of my shift keys are stuck nor do i have any extensions on, as i have turned them all off to see if that would help. I don't do well with complicated computer stuff so I'm super lost.

Example: I type Youtube in the search bar, click enter, and when I click on the Youtube link, it opens in a new tab instead of the one where i searched for it.
