I don't like Aria. And I'm probably going to get banned for not liking it. Good. Ban everybody. Enjoy being alone.
I never had a good interaction from it thus far.
Its like its primary objective is to stop me at all costs, and otherwise make my day worse.
You can't ask it to do simple things like supplement dialogue. its always "As a language AI model, I can't pray to pringles." or "As a language AI model, I can't help you crawl dungeons."
and it doesn't even try.
As a language AI model, it has failed me at all times.

@garysloop Then don't use it. The solution is really that simple.

Under the settings section it would be great to have a option to increase or decrease the font size.

I would like them to improve the behavior of the AI and adapt it more to what we are asking of it. It is the only thing they would have to improve from there on the very nice design.

@garysloop But I'll bet that it returns much better answers when you give it better prompts.
(On the phone at least) Try AIDungeon.

@youngkingz27 It could be the way that you're crafting your prompts. Some times you have to try re-wording what you're asking, to get better results.
I don't think that their design is good for overall usability. Graphically, it's difficult for some people, and the UI could use some better functionality.

@leocg Great chat bot. Provides great answers, is very chatty and willing to help by providing even more information to consider that I hadn't when asking it for help or ideas. Great work! Though the chat window tends to jitter a bit when typing in longer replies. Other than that 10/10.

I use Aria to assist with a bunch of writing assignments and it's super helpful & useful. Does a great job summarizing & paraphrasing information in an easy to understand & use way.

It is an excellent system, and I'm very impressed at its performance. However, it seems to have a lot of trouble trying to remain unbiased. I try to find sources and quotes about both sides of the Gun Control debate and other controversial topics, and it seems to only want to do the Liberal Progressive side. I ask for the Conservative side and it gives very few results where some are obviously still the Liberal Progressive side. Please update what sources Aria pulls from, as right now the system is failing its own apparent pledge to remain unbiased.

@mouldy-cheese Yes, it's needs a freshened LLM behind it.
They should either fix the bias to be balanced/un-biased, or give a switch/setting that let's users turn the liberal temperature down. -

Yes i do know Aria has some integration with "G" models, but not only it gives me accurate awnsers, it has a much greater character limit(even though i believe it should be bigger than 3000) but the summarizes she gives me are shorter and more concise than its competitors, questions are better understood and awnsers to academic tasks are generally precise, also i don't need to keep clicking the Google button to search on the web, i truly believe Opera is the one spear-heading the browser AI industry, but i do have a tiny-but-not-tiny complaint...
- I want gx aura's voice instead of A regular whisper voice
Train a model using Aura's voice(given, she consents and all that legal stuff) and then make aria evolve like a Pokémon, perhaps limit her to GX?
But that would sadden me because i use dev mostly...Still, a good idea, no?

Bro cant do simple addition.
I used to like Aria more than ChatGPT, but after arguing and asking the AI to break the additions down like 5 times, I think I'll go back to using ChatGPT.Also I asked if it could speak any other languages, specifically Bulgarian, and the answer was positive. But when I asked a question in Bulgarian it just repeated it, one time it even translated the question itself in English. ChatGPT has helped me with whole essays. need I say more.

@Chuunihan I find it's helpful to ask Aria to explain the error in the previous reply. Alternatively copy Aria's answer and paste it as Quote1: then ask Aria to review the quote. Most of the time this helps to get Aria unstuck.
Frequently this sort of problem is due to Aria not completely understanding what the context of the question is.I've had an argument or two with Aria about languages, the problem comes down to two main factors. First is that there is limited source material for it to reference to comprehend languages other than English. The second is it's default language is English and this cannot be changed so if it doesn't understand or has a problem it's likely to respond in English.
Try specifying that you want responses in Bulgarian. -

I personally think aria works very well I just think she should have a bigger character limit on chats.

I‘ve installed ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity on my Smartphone as well as Opera.
My Impression is that, when I give a prompt to each of those, Aria unfortunately gives me the poorest result of them at the moment. I don’t use any premium account with any of these.
It‘s not that Aria is necessarily and paticularly bad - any of them fails the one or the other way - but it’s mostly the weakest. -
