I was having the same thoughts. (Mind you I'm still playing with the settings) I'd really like to click on my workspace and have the same tabs auto open instead of just bookmark links

Can we truly call this a gaming browser if it doesn't have flash support? There is surprisingly still a thriving flash community but they all use various downloaded flash players (like from newgrounds) or sketchy flash enabled web browsers from less than reputable sources (gamcore).

I understand the security flaw with flash, and I am no browser engineer but its my understanding opera runs on chromium which in turn runs its tabs in little VMs. I propose a flash enabled extension with perhaps a basic malicious code checker tagged on. Nothing too fancy that will take up time and make for a bad user experience but strong enough to say, "we tried, don't be stupid with sketchy sites!"

I don't know if its already a feature or if I'm just stupid but I want to change my news source. Many news sites and blogs offer their own html insert code. For example the one I want to put to my GX Corner is:

I actually mainly use Opera GX not as a gaming web browser but as a productivity browser. I love the snapshot widget and the sidebar. Both extremely useful tools. I also make use of the video pop-ups with youtube and I use the ram limiter when I'm gaming because chrome os is a ram hog lol. All in all been using this browser for almost two years now and have been very happy.

I just downloaded Opera GX for a review and I noticed that youtube addblocker works sort of? Like if you give it 20ish seconds it will autoplay the video. However Opera GX's addblocker is nowhere near as efficient as chrome extension addblocker where video's play almost instantly (within 5 seconds).

@swedhitman I've been having the same issues. Honestly thought my graphics card was dying lol. Didn't occur to me it might be the browser

@leocg I'm sorry I disagree. I personally use Newgrounds flashplayer and there is most definitely a thriving community. I'm not calling for a return to flash, no flash is most definitely old and outdated. I am calling for the preservation of the thousands of great old flash games.

@leocg Oh my, well now I feel foolish guess I learned something new today. Please disregard my suggestion. I did not know chrome based browsers already did that.

This is a feature that used to be present in the old chaotic days of Internet Explorer. Modern browsers have done away with this feature years ago. But why?

How often have you clicked a link when you meant to open a new tab? Now you're forced to hit that back button and then right click for a new tab. Gone are the days where you could right click the back button to restore the previous page on a new tab. A simple feature from a simpler time. My suggestion is to bring back the nostalgic and useful feature.

To put it simply, I wish to receive SMS (Texts) and phone calls though Opera GX (Windows 10 web browser).

What intrigues me about this web browser is its unique attempt at maximizing productivity. I enjoy having FB messenger and Discord on an easily accessible side bar. I wish to add my phone's SMS Texts and Phone calls to a similar tab on the side bar.

This web browser's strong focus on integrating multiple elements to a single interface would benefit greatly from SMS integration. Imagine working from home; you're corresponding with fellow workmates over your latest project. In FB messenger you need send a screenshot of a previous discussion from your SMS messages. Instead of pulling out your phone, you simply click to SMS on your sidebar in Opera GX web browser, take your screenshot and post.

Meanwhile, you're writing your latest product review and you receive a phone call. Instead of pulling out your phone and stopping your productive work, you simply mute your music tab and click to SMS on your sidebar to accept the phone call hands free. With many modern workstations already possessing a built in mic with speakers and headphone jacks, such a feature would be commonly supported by most hardware.

Android and Iphone integration:

While Android is already working on native SMS and Phone call integration with windows 10, Apple currently is not. This leaves Opera GX in a unique place to bridge the gap in the market. With a cleaner 'more efficient' interface Android users will flock to Opera GX while Iphone users will have no ulterior option.
