@larsbro I would start by disabling all extensions.

@leocg Thank you for the quick reply. Already disabled extensions. Cache cleared. Preliminary fix = I hooked up a new mouse, aaaaannnnndddd, no more dozen tabs. So far the new mouse is working great, and no unwanted extra tabs.
