Maybe I can assume that during the One version developing process the panic button was in use very often taking into account the final result.

Make sure you update to Opera GX 105.0.4970.46.
Then, goto the URL
opera://settings/early_bird
, enable Eary Bird, enable the Panic Button and restart Opera. Then, goto the URL
opera://settings/panic_button_settings
, make sure the panic button is enabled and add/remove the links you want. Then, when you press F12 to go into panic mode, Opera will switch to a window that loads one of those sites at random. Press F12 again to get out of panic mode.
There's also the flag at the URL
opera://flags/#panic-button
for the panic button feature. Also, at the URL
opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts
, you can see the panic button keyboard shortcut is configurable if you don't like F12. -
