Downloads pin doesn't appear when a download has been cancelled

Preface:
This is a bug that appeared a few versions back, but I didn't bother making an account here for it back when it first started happening. I am using Opera stable for Windows 10.Issue:
When starting a download, Opera will normally make the "Downloads pin" visible (right side of pinned Extensions). This makes it easy to open the files, the destination folder or the Downloads tab with a click. However, when a download is manually cancelled this pin no longer appears. Not even on the next download.I'd call it mildly annoying, but it does interrupt me quite a lot since I am used to managing and clearing downloads regularly from this pin.
Expected behaviour
The Downloads pin should appear even if a download was cancelled. Alternatively, the cancelled download should not be stored in history, and the pin should appear on the next download instead.How to reproduce:
For the sake of this issue, I always select where to store downloads ('opera://settings/downloads' > "Ask where to save each file before downloading"). I also do not have an integrated PDF-reader in Opera.- Typically, I will google something and accidentally click a link to a PDF. But initiating any download will work.
- Opera asks me where to save it, and I cancel the download instead.
- Whenever I download anything else after this, the Downloads pin will not appear until the Download history is cleared (by opening the tab and clearing it).

Other users have had this missing download button problem for a while, but it was uncertain (at least to me) how to trigger it. Thanks for your reproduction steps. I can confirm.
Please file a bug report and post the bug number here when you're done. In the bug report, in addition to all the details and reproduction steps, include the link to this forum thread.

@burnout426 Sent a report with reference BS-50998.
The required attachment field seems a bit unnecessary (general feedback).
